Who we are

Postway operates the website and application at post-way.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our social media management platform.

Contact: privacy@post-way.com

Information we collect

Account information: name, email address, password hash or OAuth identity, workspace and organization details, team membership, and billing information processed by our payment provider.

Content you provide: drafts, scheduled posts, captions, media files, comments, tasks, and other material you upload or create in Postway.

Connected social accounts: when you connect a network, we receive OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens where applicable, account identifiers, profile metadata (such as page name, username, avatar, and follower counts), and publishing permissions required to perform actions you request.

Supported integrations may include Google/YouTube, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, and Threads. We only request scopes needed to connect accounts, publish content, and display analytics you choose to sync.

Usage and technical data: log data, IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, feature usage, error reports, and cookies or similar technologies used for authentication and security.

How we use information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Postway service
  • Authenticate users and manage workspaces and permissions
  • Publish, schedule, and manage social content at your direction
  • Sync analytics and connection status from connected platforms
  • Process subscriptions and send transactional communications
  • Detect abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve the product
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not use data obtained from Google APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Google user data

If you connect a Google or YouTube account, Postway's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is used only to:

  • Authenticate your Google/YouTube account connection
  • Upload and manage YouTube content you explicitly schedule or publish
  • Display channel metadata and analytics within your workspace

We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for advertising. Access can be revoked by disconnecting the account in Postway or through your Google Account permissions.

Meta (Facebook and Instagram) data

If you connect Facebook Pages or Instagram accounts, we store tokens and metadata needed to publish content, read basic profile and page information, and display connection status. We use this data only to provide features you request inside Postway.

We do not sell Meta platform data. You can disconnect accounts at any time from your workspace Connections settings.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell personal information. We share data with infrastructure and service providers that help us operate Postway, including hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, background job processing, and payment processing. These providers process data on our instructions and under appropriate contractual safeguards.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale with notice where required.

Retention

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure credential storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
